Overview
In a tape-based earthing system the flat conductor has to connect to the electrode at the top of each earth rod. The rod to tape clamp grips the rod and seats the tape under a plate, giving a large contact area for fault current.
Empire Alloys manufactures rod to tape clamps in brass for 5/8" rods. The standard series is listed below; other rod diameters, tape sizes and finishes are produced to order.

Materials, plating and packing
Free-cutting brass (CZ121 / IS 319 type) is the default for machined parts; copper, copper alloys, aluminium, gunmetal and steel are also processed in-house. Plating options at Empire Alloys include tin, copper, chrome, nickel and zinc, with shot blasting and nitric wash available as surface treatments.
Parts are packed to suit the shipment: PVC or thermal PVC bags, cartons, shrink-wrap, strapped wooden cases or pallets, with every bag and carton labelled for easy identification.

Which rod size do these clamps fit?
The ERTTC series is for 5/8" rods. Other rod sizes can be made to order.
