Overview
While brass is its speciality, Empire Alloys machines components from copper alloys, aluminium and steel as well. The modern shop floor runs CNCs, VMCs, SPMs and general-purpose machines, so a customer can source mixed-material parts for an assembly from one supplier.
The company also offers component solutions with added assembly, which may include ferrous or non-ferrous fasteners or non-metallic parts, so sub-assemblies can be delivered ready to fit.

Materials, plating and packing
Free-cutting brass (CZ121 / IS 319 type) is the default for machined parts; copper, copper alloys, aluminium, gunmetal and steel are also processed in-house. Plating options at Empire Alloys include tin, copper, chrome, nickel and zinc, with shot blasting and nitric wash available as surface treatments.
Parts are packed to suit the shipment: PVC or thermal PVC bags, cartons, shrink-wrap, strapped wooden cases or pallets, with every bag and carton labelled for easy identification.
