Overview
A neutral link is the brass bar in a distribution board where the neutral conductors of all outgoing circuits are terminated. Good conductivity, sound threads and corrosion resistance are essential because the link carries circuit current continuously.
Empire Alloys manufactures brass neutral links in a range of sizes and way-counts, and develops special designs for panel makers. Links are machined from the company’s own extruded brass section and supplied with screws.

Materials, plating and packing
Free-cutting brass (CZ121 / IS 319 type) is the default for machined parts; copper, copper alloys, aluminium, gunmetal and steel are also processed in-house. Plating options at Empire Alloys include tin, copper, chrome, nickel and zinc, with shot blasting and nitric wash available as surface treatments.
Parts are packed to suit the shipment: PVC or thermal PVC bags, cartons, shrink-wrap, strapped wooden cases or pallets, with every bag and carton labelled for easy identification.
